[Sangla - Himachal Pradesh]
2680m
A couple of days earlier I was riding over a rough road passing over 3223m when my clutch cable broke and I had to ride the last 10kms into town with out a clutch. Luckily at the time I was riding with 2 other Enfield riders- one guy found a hotel for us and the other stopped at an intersection with a blind corner and waved me through because I couldnt stop.
The last few kms upto Sangla I was caught in a dust storm that didnt lift my mood. I was already a bit grumpy cos I missed my turn by quite a few kms and had to re-ride a bad stretch of road. (and bad in India means incredibly crap in the west).
